photoshop and illustrator question

I don't use Illustrator all that much so I dont know all the terminology. I was just using it to put some text on a circular path, and I got this message. What do I do?

you probably need to create the shape in illustrator for it to recognize it as a path. just check the measurements of your path in ps and create a circle that same size in illustrator, should work fine.
