change dimensions of rectangle after drawn

I know this is a very simple task, but in Fireworks, after you draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool, all you have to do to change the dimensions of it is to go down to the Properties box and change them. Is there a way to do this in Photoshop?

Hit cntrl-t then you can either hold "shift" and resize it, or you can enter values in the dialogue box on the menu bar.
