How do I make wallpapers different sizes but still with the great effects? IE. 800x600, 1024x768, etc.

Just make your graphic at probably 1280 x 1024, or 1600 x 1200. Then when you are done, just reduce it to the other sizes. Don't make a small version and try to enlarge it. It will look like crap.
