Where can I get good pictures?

I have been spent too much time looking for a site with free good quality images high resolution so I can use it in my projects like a background or for something else maybe some one has a good link to download good images.

If you know what kind of image you are looking for, start checking ftp sites. For ex. if you want space images, high resolution, ftp Nasa's public site and voila - beaucoup space shots in just about any resolution you want.
