This seems to be the rage these days...

ie: http://dons.mine.nu/ (the top bar of that page)

I've got both Photoshop 7.0 and Paint Shop Pro, so any tutorial (or write up) that you may have is greatly appriciated.

Well, I try to make one, and it either fades to invisible, or fades to white. I was wondering how to fade from 1 color to another

Err, it started working now. I've figured it out, I guess it wasn't working last time..
