I have been using Photoshop since 5.0 and I feel extremely stupid asking this, but in Photoshop the line tool is used for creating lines, the pen tool is used for creating curved shapes, so what is used for creating curved lines?

The pen tool - just make a path and stroke it however you like..

The Bezier tool. Just click once to set a point, click again else where and move the mouse to establish a curve.
