I was wondering how would I create somethis like this:

In here I am talking about the background (the white thing with the logo on it) I want a shaded header like the one here.

Try creating the same shape of the header using the polygonal lasso-tool. Paint it white, and make a new layer, where you stroke your selection. While the shape layer is still selected, gaussian blur it like hell.
