How to put graphics "into" font/text? |

when you've resterized ur Text click the Magic Wand and click outside the TEXT layer, then INVERSE the selection and click the layer with the IMAGE then cut+paste. Stroke it for effect and clarity. Or u can just use the Type Mask Tool which is a helluvalot easier than whats already been mentioned. Click and HOLD on the Text tool and in the dropdown list theres extra tools specifically designed for doing what u want. |

good idea mynros. that isn't the way i do it, but as they say - there's a thousand ways to make one effect in photoshop. rasterising = a habit for me and text layers, I'm use to using filters on my text. :D |

..or you could use a clipping path type the text on a layer BELOW the graphic, then alt click (or control, i forgot) in BETWEEN the layers, (that line that seperates them in the layers panel) |
