Making a Record

Can someone write me or point me to a tutorial on how to make a Record? Not a CD, just an old time Record. I've tried to make one myself but it did not come out good at all.

try a black cricle, and with smaller gray sircles with in them but turn the opacity down, cut out a whole in the middle, make a label or whatever, mess with the lighting effects? give that a try?
