in another thread, spectra mentioned to set the radius at the resolution/200. so i assume this means if its 72, then divide it by 200 and set the radius at .36. I was just curious as to whether or not anyone knows where this number comes from? I tried it, and it works great. Just not sure why it is so. Ok, thanks.

Sorry I didnt get back to you Giotto (in the other thread). Yes, unsharp mask is extremely smart (powerful). Of course the settings that I suggested in the previous thread was for sharpening the image realistically and not giving it an effect. Unsharp mask can really give some different "halo" effects if you play with it. But at my job we need to have crisp clear images. Giotto, glad it worked for you bud :D Makes me feel good that Im not always spouting off useless info :D |
