Making gifs w jpgs doesnt work

I have a lot of jpgs and want to make an animated gif of them, but that doesnt work I ve read a tutorial somewhere and there it worked. But I just get an errormessage and the only files with that I can make an animated gif are gifs :(

You talking baout making an animated Gif in imageready with jpegs?... i tried that the other night it worked ok.but then i said screw it and opened up my GIF maker program...

What tutorial did you use? Maybe i could try it see if mine wokrs.Or maybe someone else has a suggestion for you.

If you're starting with JPEGS, and you are able to animate them using ImageReady, you are, at some point, compressing those JPEGs into the GIF format.

Motion JPEGs are possible but you'll need QuickTime Pro or a similar application to do it.
