Hi, need help making a flashing/blinking heart!

Hi I'm trying to make another image for my website that I'm making over and need some advice.

I'm trying to make a small heart (like 30x30 pixels) that sparkles/blinks. Now, can I do this in Photoshop or Image Ready? I've tried everything in PS but can't figure it out. I would appreciate some tips!!

Use image ready. make sure the Window -> Animation.
Make however many frames you need...
Make whatever layers you want visible for whatever frames
Set the time you want each frame to show for.
In your workspace pallete window, click the optimize tab
Use the Window -> Optimize pallete to adjust the colors and settings accordingly for the smallest possible image, without losing quality. play with the settings.
then File -> Save Optimized As
Make it a gif. that should do 'er.
