Well you guys were helpfull with the last design. I've never used any photographs in my designs and I'm playing around with issue #2. Made this up tonight. So any comments would be appreciated as always. Color scheme, graphic elements, etc. http://www.pankpages.com/issue_2.jpg Wanted to go for a cleaner, lighter, somewhat more "professional" look this time. Just seems odd using a photo. And I'm afraid the metallic robot thingy may be too cliche (but I'm not sure). But a new set of eyes always helps kick me in the ass ;) |

Wow, tha robot is fine, but that burnt look on the top right looks out of place. Hey you've used the Poser models alot, so I don't think the robot is a problem. Is the content gonna be in that little box? Hope its not, cause that's really small Nice work overall |

looks great pank... I don't think the robot looks off, what is the original pic??? I agree about the content box, if it is going to be the content box that is. Nice colors, good for some easy watching. |

I like the thing, but I'm with Zed on the orange'ish/brown blurry thing in the upper right, it looks out of place to me. The robot, well.... I like it.

Oh now I see what you guys are talking about. That is a leftover from another image that I was thinking of using instead of the robot. Forgot to hide it before I upped the pic ;) I was wondering what you were talking about...

Bob~ I'll share my wife's comments with ya... how's that? She says if you want to make sure the robot thing isn't cliche, make her boobs smaller! I'm not sure if this is for your portfolio site, or a 'project' site... but she might have a gender-specific-valid point. I would guess there's a large share of women in corporate America who are Art Directors for their companies (I know ours is), who may not find it particularly interesting subject matter to have robots with big bazoombas! Personally, I'd do her! |

How about if I give her a big dick to match the boobs. Then we'll have equality ;)
