Pank: can I solicit the 'donation' of download credits from iStockphoto.com for the use of their images in Pixel Wars? I was going to offer them a blurb in the thread every time I use one of their images, ie.

Stock photos compliments of iStockphoto.com

This is the reply from istockphoto.com. Sounds like it's a go. I'll reply that the passwd will only be handled only by the moderators. I'm not sure how you want to handle the link--sounds like they're offering you a spot on the front page! Did I do good, Dad?

We like the idea. The only point of concern is some kind of limitation on
the number of downloads and who you're going to share the login information
with.

I propose this account is only used privately with your members and we will
supply you with, let's say 20 downloads per week. What do you think? We're
flexible - I just don't want a rogue user to have access to an unlimited
account. We can add more credits if you need them.

Thanks for thinking of us. Of course, we will supply a place for a
teamphotoshop.com badge as well, probably right after the A List Apart
badge.

looks sweet to me. should make doing pixel wars 142% easier too! since that is pretty much the best stock photo site out there... except for the really expensive ones like gettyone.

Dan is the man. Thanks! Ok. So they do not get concerned about abuse and people stealing their images tell them that yes, only tps people will have access to the account. Nobody else. And also tell them that once the image has been posted and grabbed by our contestants we can either remove the actual picture so nobody else can download it or we can throw a water mark over it to make it useless. Whatever they prefer. Very cool of them to do this. I’ll give them a nice write up on the front page in the news area… Thanks…
