Hey Everyone,
I am drawing a picture of an elephant for my wife....a suprise! It's drawn with jet-black ebony on manilla colored paper (the reason for the yellow hue). It is not finished, I am stuck on drawing the trunk. This is turning out to be the most difficult part! The picture is large so I had to scan in 4 sections and piece them together, that's why you see lines and color variations in the BG.
Anyway, let me know what you all think. Any suggestions...critiques?

Thanks for the comments everyone! Hopefully I'll finish that stinkin' trunk soon. I'll post the complete drawing then.

I don't often just heap praise on something but that is really gorgeous work, great stuff. Nice job, can't wait to see the finished piece.

It is absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to see the finished art as well!

Don't worry about the trunk. You have done so fabulously on the rest of the drawing, I have the highest confidence that you will do equally well on the trunk. Stop fretting over it!
