It's a good start. You need to start getting inspiration from other sites, you new at this, and it's a good start...i'm repeating myself. Another thing, pleeeeeese use the 'save for web' option in PS, i can't stress that enough. You image at the botton is 377k and it's tiny! A major aspect of being a web designer is to be able to keep size to a minimum. Kee the k's down and search for some good sites (www.linkdup.com is a good start) ;)

i got a little inspiration for a splash - so i did this

thought i would point out the bottom left part of your table and the right part are about a pixel off at the bottom....those kinds of things grab my attention real fast and annoy the **** outta me...thought id just mention that

hmmm... dont say you didnt ask:D lose the serif font and replace it with verdana or any number of sans fonts. Also the blue text for the navigation is a little dominating on the page. Colour scheme overall is a little dark and broody, I feel that some of the design elements get lost in a sea of dark blue and black.

it looks like you wanted to have the page centered in the browser. But you have it left aligned with space before the main table with the content. It might look fine in your browser at your screen res. but it looks weird otherwise. You should make it so it really centers in the browser.

Why are most gamesites in black? I just think it's a "plague" gamingsites catch..... :(
