It looks good. I would try and implement some color into it. This is sorta how my site was at first. It was alllll light bluish gray and it just didn't look right. I played around with adding color and after a few days, I added just a few small areas of yellow and it looked so much better. So maybe try and add a little color, monotone sites are great, dont get me wrong, I personally just like to see a little bit of color. Looks sweet other than that!

Nice, looks good. Only a couple minor problems that I found. First, right below the login/search area on the left, the content box kindof shifts one pixel to the left. The other problem is that the content box just drops off at the bottom of the page. It would help if you put some kind of footer right there to make it look better. Other than that, everything looks great!

Maybe use other colors on texts and links so it don't blend in too much to the design.......?

if you use a set colour scheme to such a degree, images that dont follow your colour scheme will look really out of place

I would give :

Design : 8 : Great artwork. I would probably add some distance to the text inside the boxes though, some air. I think the "hard to read but looks damn good" approach is cool, use it mysefl. Matter of taste.

Colours :6 : monochromoe is cool, but I agree with the points made here.

Layout : 7 : bit "chopped up" with separate boxes here and there, but they go well together

I like it, the pic above the news stuff maybe a little bright consider the other imgs around it, and maybe make the fourm thingy a little shorter..

I like it... i like the techy yet simple look... the colors are great... and i think everything flows toget here pretty good... nice work...

i would say 7/10 it has a great look, the main image up top seems out of place because everything has a great dark border around it and then the image is all alone with out one. also i noticed that the "login/Search" layer isnt lining up quite straight with the main conent box, might have to give it a few more pixels other than that look pretty nifty
