suaevents.com feedback

Hello everyone!
I'm finishing up the design of a site I've been working on for about a month and I would like to get some feedback on it. I am a graphic designer at the Student Union Activities at the University of Kansas. SUA is a student run orginazition that puts on events for the students of KU. suaevents.com is our new site shocasing our upcoming and past events and the committees that organize them. The site uses asp script so the cordinators can update messages and events through the private side of the site. The picture on the home page randomly changes when the page is reloaded. Please have a look and let me know what you think!
(p.s. yes, I know it resembles a certain site but it worked well for our site)
