alrighty :D

the site is very plain, nothing graphically-intense about it.
the portfolio pics are nothing but filters upon filters is that "electric water" thing just the thunder tutorial blended under the ripple filter or wahtever makes that water effect?

and if you're gonna have a section/link make sure you have content, for example i'm sure most of you have seen that GEICO commercial where the guy loses his girlfriend b/c his website doesn't have enough content...well i think if you don't have much content or you have a lot of "content" but it doesn't actually say anything, then there is really no point for anyone to want to come back.

I think you need something that would make people wanna come back, lots of content that is actually contentable (wtf is that?) and if i knew what that was, i'd have a website up
and i guess producing something is better than nothing at all, eh?
maybe someone else can be more constructive w/ the criticism and use more "I" statements...

1. The font you're using should definitely change. Mouse-over effects on the links will also help this out too. Check: http://www.htmlgoodies.com/css-ref/part4.html and http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/rollover.html.
2. Check your punctuation. (This is solely a personal thing.)
3. Eyecandy and content. You definitely need those too. It has to appeal to the visitor. Try using something else rather than thick black lines and a blue circle. Look up how to create interfaces @ http://www.eyeball-design.com/fxzone/index.htm. If you do not wish to completely redesign your page (I strongly urge you to do so if you want to attract visitors), disregard this comment.
4. You give the visitor a nice message on your tutorial section, making him/her to think, ultimately for the reason to see a featured tutorial that doesn't exist. A simple "COMING SOON", "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" , or "THE CONTENT HAS NOT YET PASSED THROUGH CUSTOMS" will suffice.

i. What kind of visitors are you planning to attract? Depending on the audience, necessary changes would need to be made.
