My New Site

Just finished this first page of my site but i wanted to get some input before i went ahead and finished the rest so please give me you honest opinion of the site i want to know everything thnx

the scan linesmight be a little tacky, and maybe change the font for you news, and the little guy saluting your top spalsh has some chunyness under his left arm
maybe make the font ont eh menu a little lighter maybe red or something I dunno, but other than that I like it

the black text on a grey cloudy background can get hard to read. and i think you probably should the words command and conquer or their logo in the top image... so people know that its a C&C site right off.

alright ill shave the guy a little more and lighten the text and come back and repost it

i don't like how that gradient grid just comes out of no where, and that blue wire/tube/thingymabobber on the right of the banner really sticks out. and dont' forget your page title

what are your opinions about the red text keep or change?
and if you want me to change the background id appreciate a suggestion on what to change it to

and the little dood is much improved, and I think you added some line things at the top those are nice too and for the background

something texturey but not scanlines.. I dunno like GRR I don't know man make it texturey but not?..
oh yeah at the end of your top piece right where the picture ends its like a different shade of red, you should make that and your line things stretch (but not noticably) all the way make it a new pic and set its width to 100%, but thats just what i'd do, and since all my websites usually suck you don't have to do that

uhh.. about the red its a different shade because the picture doesnt take up the entire area and its set on soft light or something so its supposed to be like that but what line things do you want me to stretch?

you have the lines bordering the top part they're thick and have texture like they're supposed to be cement or something, those lines

still kinda fuzzy you mean that metal texture that didnt come out right under the red sorta... has the word menu on it?
