Monument - Comments so far?

Hi folks

I'm building a site for my band and I have made a first strike at it. Tell me what you think so far. Does it suck? Is it good enough or what? Any comments are appreciated. I intend to keep it simple and clean....

wow, long time no see. About the site..

I like the design. It's very nice and simple, unique layout idea.

The only thing i would definitely look into would be the text in the nav, it's a bit hard to see, and bit squashed. But other than this, i really like it!

I'd like to see the whole Monument logo/title bigger. Since it's not placed at the top, it needs just a hair more focus drawn to it. It looks good, but I'd bet it would kick it up notch if it were just bigger and more in your face.

Also in 800x600, the "links" button is getting cut off. At least here at work where I am looking at it.

Other than that, it's a nice clean layout with a cool little color scheme.

i like the colors and logo and how you have the nav set up even tho its kind of random... very clean, good job

Well I set the menu up kinda random, but I thought to myself that hey.......It will probably be obvious for the visitor what the heck they should do....

About the typo.......I will change that. Sorry for my poor english....I'm swedish ya know......

As it is a first version, I will consider all options and try something else out too. THanx for the comments.......Please don't stop.......

Maybe another font in the menu?

definitely, try to find a font matching the band. perhaps a gothic font?

Got another one going now....Updated the logo aswell........So good so what?
