Here is the top left portion of the page for a newspaper layout in GIF. This will be at the very top with no border. On the opposing side there will just be the rectangle with smooth side and contain the section's name.

tsg, you cant print to the edge of the sheet on your tabloid. In order to do that you are looking at an extra expense in "trimming" 3 edges of the publication.

There has got to be a border of white space on your document.

As for the layout....I really like it
