i rememer sidez or someone pulled statistics for browsers - 90% of vistors used IE based ones in netscape only defined values of each cell stay the same, so its almost impossible for "some" complicated designs, but u can use dhtml for scrollers anyway whuts so good in netscape? - just extra headaches to designers and yeah, text is way too small :(, unless u got 20/20 vison, which will probly get worse after reading the whole content |

If it works in netscape, chances are it will work in IE. Unix/Linux users only have a couple alternatives for browsers. Most of those are all text based, so your layout doesnt matter. It's still nice to be able to have a site that works crossbrowser. Would you pay someone a ton of money to build a site that only looks correct in 1 browser? As for Opera not being able to understand 'overflow' in the span or div tag, dek pretty much summed it up. I only know of one other browser that picks up as much level 1 css as opera and that's Konquerer for the K Desktop Environment. |
