Okay i uploaded Version 2 of my portfolio, i only added a bit of content, and am adding a services section and maybe a pop-up to the lists of images/sites soon

hmmm....the header is a bit too photoshop-eye-thingish for me, but that´s a matter of taste..
And overall it´s a "bit" empty... Are you planning on adding more content to the startPage?

I kinda like the banner. That's just me. Just all the grey space really bugs me though.
