The second one is great, except, as with a lot of designs, we need a bit more content area... Maybe you could make the fade a bit quicker and expand the content to the left a bit more.

What fonts did you use?

OK I have updated it a bit.
Fonts used: Mest and kroeger 05_53 .
The contents area will be taller, and..should I make it wider, to the right? (It wont fit 100% with 800x600 but more space for contents..)
