Pointyhat Edition 14 - Please test it!

Here it finnaly is! The 14th edition of Pointyhat Design Lab!

Please check it out and test it and let me know if annything is wrong (and i will listen, i must, and maybe how i can correct it). Yes i know that the first flashy blue things DOES TAKE A YEAR TO LOAD! If you know any good pogram that puts some pressure on the images then let me know :D

All that waiting on the first page, then I still have to click the LAUNCH button! Splash pages aren't really necessary. Ask yourself, why do I have a splash page? Maybe you'll surprise yourself and end up removing it.

In regards to your logo, change the font for the i, because if you don't notice the little dot it reads as Porntyhat Design.

Most importantly, however, you need to develop your subpages more. They look last minute thrown together. Develop a more user-friendly navigational menu.

Overall you did a good job, just not planned too well.

i would make the little animations on the splash page animated gifs. then i would get rid of the splash page completely.

why is the main content window so thin? i can't see any reason for it. i think popup content windows like that are annoying and not user-friendly.

i would get rid of the splash page and go with your light blue style in a regular browser window.

now if you would excuse me, i have a craving for hash brown potatoes for some reason.

I agree with you about the subpages, but the site is not finished yet, its still in Beta :D

Yea i know about the logo font... But i think thats a part of the charm... And its to late to change it now annyway... :D

I dont have the same oppinions about the 'splash' page or what you call it. "Good and high level/colour graphics" = longer waiting times. The people that visits the Pointy hat site is not suppose to visit it everyday and struggle through the 'splash' page hundreds of time. Its a pretty personal site about me and my artwork, not to be confused with Hotmail or Yahoo if you see what i mean And we are getting faster and faster connections for everyday that goes by :D
