I just bought this dot com (se55.com) and

now I finally have it hosted... I threw these

pages together in a matter of like 4-5 days...

please tell me what you think about the whole

layout and what you think I could do to make it better!

i'll step up to the plate. my name is charm, i am a virgo. i like long walks on the beach and ******** by the pool.

-splash pages are bad bad bad. warnings ('optimized for internet explorer, 1024x768 and 16 million colors') are worse worse worse!

-i think it is a mistake to design your site for 1024x768. the funny thing is that the site doesn't even appear to be optimized for that resolution. it actually fits perfectly at 800x600 and even 640x480!

-you are not presenting your content effectively. you have the nav down the side and that information is duplicated in the main content area of the page.

-the homepage has nothing visually interesting to offer. the design is quite plain. there is nothing here to wow the user or impress them with your skills.

-i wouldn't list payment you have received for current or past projects

it looks like you have a lot to say. i think it could all be presented in a more fun way. a little more in-your-face or something

I love great criticism, it's um great!!!! The reason I say it's optimized for IE, that's what the majority of people use.
also i said it was optimized for 1024x768 for the sole reason that that is what it was designed on so I just wanted to make sure people knew that if it looked messed up on their comp at 800x600 then that would be why... But really thanks for the stuff... anything good about my site... you almost reduced me to a big whiny ball of crying sadness.!!! geez do be so critical.. i've gotten lots of compliments on it. so Nah! ;)

I suggest you change the font color. It's hella hard to read with that background color....

Ditch the iframes.

The page looks like cack in netscape 6.02, normally not a good sign. It doesn't show up at all in 4. Definitely not a good sign.

Either, swear on the site, or don't swear, don't mix swearing with ****ing out words.

*shrug* it looks a like a trendy page.
