I finally got done with my bands new site. It will only run on IE 5.5 or 6.0, nothing below 5.5 because i used Iframes. Netscape doesnt work with it (go figure) but im making 2 more versions, one for netscape and one for IE 5.0.

This page is done but not released until later tomorrow night (22nd). I just wanna see what you guys think of it first.

Thanks for your time.

Hmm,

Don't really like the fonts used and their styles. The outer emboss at the top is alright but in your content you have it again but it's a lot smaller, making it really hard to read--the interact part, hard to read links at the top. Also on your main page the black smooth writing font doesn't work with the jagged edge of the other font you used. Everything is so small and compact into one corner of the screen. I don't know, i'd work on it a bit harder.

I have a Mac with IE5 and the borders are out or place. A heck of a lot of web users use macs remember...

I don't like any of it.......the colours bother me, and the fonts I don't like, nor the way they were used......

The page is strickly designed for 800x600, besides graphic designers, the biggist majority of users use that resolution. I was thinking about doing a 1078x768 but I only know one person who uses that and he can run the site just fine. Granted he is weird and likes the stuff small (gamer).

I wasnt completely happy about the links bar i made, so i was kinda expecting that. I will release the page then work on the linkbars later since the site is already over due (plus its my own band and no one who has seen it yet have complained execpt graphic artists and myself) haha.

But i do thank you for your thoughts and takeing the time to look at my page. As far as the colors go, i love them, they fit my band and i was going to make the site an icy blue until i hit the CMYK and it did that to my image and thought it was more badass then the ice.
Thanks everyone.

IE 5 on the mac is oh so much better than IE 6 or whatever on the PC. It's the only good decent applicaation Microsoft has released for the mac, and it's better than their own platform! lol
