html site

well im new here and i thought i'd post my site for some feedback, since all i get from friends is thats great and variants there of, so i wanted to know what you all think. i recently learned flash and haven't gone back to html, but im slowly drifting back to it, so this is my latest. please ignore that dumb banner, its there cause im using register.com's domain forwarding casue im still stuck in geocities:( AARGGHH, hopefully i'll be getting a server in a few weeks. just uploaded the site and realized, i need preloaders oh well let me know what you think.

Pretty slick... looks very professional.

I think the "pank tube" that goes behind the gray bar would be better it it was in front of the gray bar and maybe had a little drop shadow "just" on the gray bar. might give it a little depth.


oh yeah... and what preloader?

when i looked at that.. first thing came to mind was mediatemple.net

was the design inspired by them??

i need a preloader for the rollover images on the navbar, sot he action is quick and not delayed. I'll try that thing with the tubesand see hoe it looks. before my site wasjsut blank up there and i read that post on this MB and thought it would look snazzy up there, and it adds some color to it.

yeah it was inspired by mediatemple.net i used the dotted lines and the bars on the right cause i thought that was a killer idea to make up for differences in resolution, fits just right in 800x600 and fills up the space on everything up to 1960 or whatever it is

its way too similar.... the position of the logo, the picture, the footer

i'm not implying that you're ripping off mediatemple .. but it looks like it

Personally, i'd definitely get rid of those scan lines on the botom, they're not very usefull really, just to distract you or possibly give the viewer an epileptic fit....

The Empty space filler is a darker contrast than the main graphics...kind of distracting.
