Preview of my site

I finally started my site. So i put up a little beta design to get some comments on.

It's basically just an image in a html page, so if you want to click the drop downs, scroll down :p

About the tutorials, I got more then 10 tutorial ideas, most of which are pretty original (the letterseal, the monstervines etc.).

Style is sort of grungy in my own minimalistic way I guess.

I really like the colors, they go very well together...

are you gonna use that navigation, or are you just using it for now??? Like it very much though...

Yea I'm gonna use it, it's sort of like using fancy dhtml dropdowns in a regular way, gives it a nice look.

The design has only changed slightly for noow, just added some more swirly grunge stuff near the drop dwons, I'm working out different ideas how to do the content.

That's some stylish stuff. Great colors. Good typo. Interesting grungy things.

My only concern is the nav. It could be annoying if not done well. I always get kind of annoyed with drop down navigation bars because you have to click to see where you can go. But that's a pretty minor thing I guess. And since it's a design site I think you can get away with it as that is a pretty popular nav system for design sites.
