Not bad, the colours are good, but the navigation is kinda' big. What resolution is your site supposed to be viewed at? Cuz I'm on 800 X 600....and I hate scrolling up and down everywhere..... But other than that, it's not bad.....:D |

1 - The idea behind the navigation stinks. If you intend on making navigation like this, provide much better feedback with the cursor. Whether you have to make the hotspot that triggers the "drag" bigger, or anything that gives the user feedback over where to click. It took me a good 30 seconds to figure out to move the mouse half way off of the left of the screen for it to work. If you want people to view your portfolio, why are you making it so difficult? 2 - I like bright colors. That's probably the only thing your site has going for it right now. I am not trying to sound harsh, but the navigation kills everything involved with the site. Keep the colors, rethink the navigation. 3 - The fact that my resolution is 1280x1024 and I had to maximize the browser window to get rid of scrollbars is pretty bad. Flash is scalable for a reason. USE THE SCALABILITY. why is it bad? a. if the user is confused over your navigation, they are going to start scrolling all over the place trying to find what they are obviously missing. b.view the site in 800x600. If your site were intended to be that large, it would have content in the parts someone one such a low resolution would have to scroll to see. But since it's nothing but blank, All that real estate is valuable either use it or stay out of it. |

It's a good site, the only thing I didn't like about it is the navigation and the unnecessary scroll bars--shrink down your flash a bit.

yes, the navigation is very difficult, after reading what axiom wrote, the only thing i accompished was to drag, i didn't get any farther then that. your new mouse-pointer thing is confusing also, i didn't know whether those things were like cross-hairs, or i was supposed to use that arrow that's on it. and yea, the scroll bars are annoying, i'm on a 1024x768 and using netscape, and it changes the res. so it still doesn't fit even at a larger resolution. and i don't like the colors of your drag thingy, I think it deviates to much from the more dominating yellow and black. [the more positive portion of this post] but i don't know flash, at all... so good job w/ how u made that mouse stuff and draggable : ) [end of possitive] but i don't know that could be REALLY easy!! : ) nah j/k |
