I just think that version 2 has not enough effects to it as compared to version 1.

Personally I think they are all way too busy, and I don't see how you are going to make the text readable over all of that noise.

There seems to be a lot of useless design elements floating around, such as the miniscule text, the arrows pointing in every direction, the barcode, etc.

The text on the nav bar is hard to read. I can't read the third one from the left at all.

I hope you have just sliced it that way for mockup purposes and aren't going to leave it that way, because you only need to use a fraction of those. I think I saw it say there were 71 images on that site... A bit excessive.

i totally agree with Deker here.
The first thing that came into my mind was: chaos.

You've used a lot of colors, a lot of shapes, a lot of everything.
This can be a good thing in grunge-type designs, but definately not here.

agree on that....especially on how the finishing touch will look...with the text...I wonder how you'll make it readable...maybe dark it more in the frames...dunno

I agree with all those agreeable dudes above.

I think that version 2 is better because there's less chaos happening, and therefore a more useable web page. I also like how the 'panels' have a simpler background allowing the text to be read easier.

I like the other one as well, but the current panels for them will need to be toned down a bit in order to read any content.
