some layouts . . .

I've been making sites for a while but I've never gotten really good at design. These are some recent one I've made, can any one give some suggestions? Not too harsh though.

Very nice :D It looks very good. With the first one, you maybe need to blend the right (as in direction) red colour into the left red color to make it easier on the eye. I don't know, but your JS for scrolling looks very fast, can you make it slower becuase it IS poetry, something you have to take time at reading.

The second one it very groovy, i love that design you have. The JS box however doesn't fit in, in my opinion. It's a bit difficult to read. It's maybe missing a border or something:confused:

They're very good, try to mix the 2 red colours you have!

some real nice work there dude. I like the first one better, nothing really to comment on, the red looks good, red is usually to bright for me but good there. SOme nice graphics man, and quite fast loading, great work.

i like the first one alot...creative me thinks...

but as for the second one...

it takes to long to load
other than that it's pretty good too
