Hi folks !!

I'm in the middle of redesigning a website I have had since a few years back called "Web Winter Dead". It's a tribute site to my personal favorite band called Savatage.

I need some comments on my progress. Is it a fairly good website and will I be able to show it to the other Savatage fans around ???

Every comment is well appreciated..... :D

Very nice mate!!! Nice contrast, art work... the only complaint I have is the file size. Try to get the interface's file size down as far as possible without loosing too much detail. Keep up the good work man.

Yeah I know the filesize might be a tad too big, but I have to figure out the best way to get them smaller......

Many changes ahead........ :D

Thanx again for the comments.....Please let me know what can be added to a metal website. I have now done some changes and I have also managed to shrink the filesizes a tad for those on modem. Hope it does it. I will now continue grabbing thoughts and go on from there....... :D

As I said, some of the files in the interface can be a tad slower on loading than the others. But I feel I don't want to lower the quality anymore because of the reduction of quality......

Thanx and let the comments go onwards........ :D

I'm not a metal fan, but when viewing your site I could become one ;). Your site looks fantastic ... it has a great atmosphere. Congrats.

Can I ask you a small question ? The top of the page with the bird & the castle ... did you started from a normal photograph ?

I actually have no problem with the file size ... it loads very quickly here @ work. I'm on 15kb/s here ... just loads as fast as my dsl connection at home. It must be hosted on a very good server.

Cheers,
Catscratch

The bird and the house pic is actually directly copied from the latest album cover, but with a few adjustments........Not much work though.

Good to hear loading comments.......I appreciate them much.
