I decided to code my own, but I can't seem to get past the design. I figured it would be simple, but it's hard to layout a bunch of data tables.

Suggestions/crits/rip it to shreds/whatever

Looks pretty good Rodder. I almost took on the endeavor of creating my own CMS a while back, but time and client work became a factor so I had to decided against it. Great work though man.. looks pretty cool.

I should add that except for the main "data table", it's css. The nav is done with spriting, which is a totally awesome technique!

Looks easy to use, and clean. All that's required from a admin panel in my opinion!

It looks nice and simple, I like it!

You seem to stick to your color palette, which is gray :P, but I love grey!

I decided to update this design. The original, though it mostly works for me, is a bit too simplistic, so Im hoping to bring this up to a portfolio kinda quality.

Crits are good :P

Also my new lcd monitor is super bright, so can someone tell me if it looks ok?

New deisng feels like it tightens and consolidates everything. I like both feels, just depends on what you want, really. Your latest definetly feels like there is more action on the board.

Simple, good colors, great contrasts. If you can take a compliment from a noob, I like it!

That looks nice!
The first thing I thought was that it is a bit overwhelming, but I guess with a CMS you can get away with that. A bit more spacing could fix it though...

Good job.

I decided to ditch the white. It seemed to add contrast in areas I didn't need it...which took away from the nav/content. I also enlarged the header and played with the border spacing a little bit.

This version seems to be much easier on the eyes, atleast for me.
