Incase anybody doesnt want to scroll down, my new site is here ----------------- It's a small pixel art site based around a log feature. Im really looking for it to reflect the work ie. small/simple/fun. |

Man you are really getting good at that pixel stuff Rodder. You should do backgrounds for some of those little pixel RPGs out there on the 'net. Or GBA games. The site itself is pretty plain, which is ok if you want the focus to be on the background/your work. Might be cool to make the site itself more "pixelly" though. Use pixel fonts, integrate some cool little pixel stuff into the design of the site area. But yeah, you said all of that is still being worked on. I like the way you're doing the background though, with the site laid on top of that. That is cool. Kind of like the ads on gamespot.com that continue from the background, through the header ad space, all the way to the background on the other side. |

Artwork and composition of the page looks great... Personally, I'm not keen of content taking up such as small area of the page, but that's just my personal preference. But looks fantastic.

Here's a big update. Ive been killing myself trying to find the right style for this site. I started to really hate my last post, so I made a compromise between a clean style & a pixeled one. I still need to workout the title graphics, and most of the art is just for testing the layout. Comments on the color scheme would be great. Im not sure if it's too shocking, but pale colors just werent cutting it. |

damn skippy. that's pretty nice. i like the storm trooper. i kinda like the idea of the the juicy content floating over the juicy western set...maybe you could show a little more space in between the two boxes? whatever you're intending... either way, i just dungeonsed all over my dragons. |
