Looking pretty nice A couple things that stick out to me:

1. That horizontal line in your logo/company heading I think should be the same as the line that runs across the bottom 3rd of the page, either have them both anti-aliased or not at all.

2. I'm not really feeling the top pattern/border, it just seems a little lonely, maybe add more of it to help unifiy the site, or remove it altogether.

Other than that, looking pretty slick, nice typography. Is there any reason for the change of colour in the headdings (news & photography) ?

I really, really like the feel of the layout. Not traditional web. Has a nice feel.

I was going for like a "victorian" kind of feel, hence the line work and the thing at the top which is supposed to be like from the wood along the bottom of walls in a an old home :/
