New layout to old site.

...Need feedback, haven't got any from the client yet, so I'm ahead here...

The story thus far:

A year ago, or maybe two, I did a picbased design for a fraternity here in sweden and got paid for it. About three weeks later I'd discovered CSS and it's potentials, which made me almost puke everytime I went to have a looksi at the design I'd made for this frat.

Since that time I've been at them in order to get them to buy an update from me so I can actually say I did they're site without shame (can't really now, hehe), and they have finally responed to this "leaning on"...

And this is the new fast one I've made to have something to begin with: New one

Any thoughts that pop's up from you lot ?

I think this is probably one of your best designs ever!
I really like it!
Very simple but still very nice.
The only thing that you really have to work with is the logo.
It looks SO bad, I know you haven't done it... but it looks like it would have been cut out with the magic tool or something!
And then I would change the font of the "logo" text.
Make it alot cleaner, just use a normal font and just white or something!

heh its nice only because it looks like you stole my background :D heh
but other than that its still good, simple is nice, its clean and easy to follow.

Wow, I see that we have rather alike backgrounds...Hm, sorry, man I haven't stolen it if you thought that. It's a "cow in cident". It just shows how much you have influenced me, eh ?

Bjorn. You're right...I haven't made that logo, nor am I guilty of magic tooling it, it's just poorly done. I will try and get another one from that Round Table thingy. The logotext is also bad, I agree, but as I said "this is the new fast one I've made". This is a very first try, suggestion in which I didn't plow too much work, as I didn't know if they would like it.

It so happens they did, however...Hehe, so I 'll have to work on those two eh ?

And, zyc...Do you mind, that we have the same background...They're kind of set on it...

Nah, there is a li'l difference in the lower blue shade, init ? I think there is, hehe ;)

yupp, noticed that. My sites starting to get popular, which affects my bandwidth...(concidering getting a .se domain)...It's gonna be down until the month shifts, I'm sorry to say.
