Looks really good zyc... I like the colors and the pics, and everything really flows together. Only thing I would suggest is maybe a littel futter at the bottom to wrap the site up, other than that though I think it looks good :D

Looking good, however, some of the things on the left nav don't really match. You have custom made some of the things like "Category, Calender, etc.", and the other stuff is plain. Looks great though, and I love your new design.

the colour for the new website design seems a bit cold (very saturated?) to me. i actually like the one for zyconium.com design 2 (with the magenta), it's kind of gritty and simple, and interesting to look at (there are some spacing/organization issues, but i just like the whiteness and sort of random/casual look - it's friendly). sorry, i've gone off topic, you're probably not working on that one anymore. what you've got going for the current design is that it does seem more mature/professional. i guess it depends on who you're targetting =P love the colours in the fall photo (latest blog entry) - maybe you could look to those for some colours to try. |

Excellent Jake! I agree, excellent use of color. I should spend more time telling you why it's great, but you probably already know. Caught a couple of things: 1) you misspelled theroot42 on the links in your blog; and 2) you're light on content in your site. We need to hire you a copy writer to buff up the verbage. |
