nightpool (1st try)

just wanna hear some c&c for my new site.
what you think of it?

The first thing that comes to mind is get rid of the big "02" on the top right. Its fairly meaningless (or doesnt have enough impact on the viewer to justify such a large size) and its kind of a distraction on such darker colors.

Without that though...i would have to suggest getting rid of the blue crosshatch pattern/diamond plate behind it. I think it would look much better if you played with the skyline, the gradients for the big lights & the silhouette (spelling?) instead of it.

The only other thing i dont like is the 2 red blocks (on the left side) on the blue. They look out of place.

Other than that......not bad. I like the dark & bright color scheme (very saturated). It goes well with "night" and is just colurful enough to give off a party vibe.

i really like the layout.

(sry for germ)----> hast du mal eigene bg-patterns gemacht? (ist mir selbst erst vorkurzem uebern weg gelaufen - kleine neue file aufmachen pattern aufmalen -->bearbeiten --> muster festlegen !)

---->anyway nice arrangement of colours and objects --> and its still easy to find contents...

l luv the theme and the trendyness you are obvious well trained and does great graphic works with simple but organize clean design, job well done

This going to be in flash? Looks to be kindof in image intensive design if your going to make it HTML, or PHP, or whatever. Looks good though

it will be completely html, php without (!) flash or js!
i really dislike this js playing! most of the users will never recognize it because of bad settings in ie (or other browsers)
flash, i think there's no need for flash, gfx are good arranged for putting them togehter without having (big) problems with...

the big 02 is a real mistake... it should be a 03 for the version 3 of this site

the color themes will be a bit more optimized in final version... the red is a problem and i think i will take a little lighter one for that place

@dr.feng: jep, i'm using this for some years now, make thing much easier (sry for english ;) )

i will put the final site if i build it up

Honestly, when I saw it the first time around before anybody posted comments, I thought to myself "hello 2advanced:prophecy!" :p

The color scheme and the general placement of things feel 2a-esque, although I'm not too sure if you drew inspiration from them. It's still hasn't been chopped up and coded so I won't comment about the layout yet, I want to see how you execute the thing first. :] Good luck.
