True - but not when it comes to websites. I have visited plenty of sites looking for a particular service, and I've left several just because they had an intro I couldn't skip. My time is better spent earning money than watching your life story fly by a few lines at a time.

Yeah, but rule number 1 in making flash sites is to always always always put a skip button on your flash intro if you so choose to have one.

(rule number 2 is to use flash tastefully)

(rule number 3 is to put mute buttons on your bg music)
