I nearly cried when I first saw your site. It's like you have read magazines and constructed your site through tutorials, if this is the case or not, the perception is enough to make me wary. The use of Flash is not needed in a site such as this, even if you can justify it, your implementation of it is woeful to say the least. In total, missable. Your Photoshop section is not really upto portfolio scratch as it stands. Lose most (all) of the work and only put original or outstanding pieces up. At the moment you have a mixture of tutorial pieces and beginners art. Never have a navigational marker if you don't have the content. What's the point in advertising your lack of content and/or laziness? By all means indicate it in your regular site content, but this is not the right way to do it. Not overly fond of your colours. Royal blue, light grey and other hues of blue are not the most soothing or harmonious. Still, that's a personal thing Your font choice is also dubious. Not really designed for Flash and not really in context with your sites ambition. Oh and welcome to the forum |
