Well, what are you trying to say with it? First thing i think is "it looks kinda like vir2L and then I think "barcode". Does that have anything to do with what you're trying to convey? What's the significance of "redshift"? What do you want me to think when I see this image? Am I having an opposite reaction to what you intended?

Hope that gives a bit of direction...

you've got kind of a cool barcode blue thing but the way you handled the type (color, size, font) kills it.
