The site is cool, but the movie is a complete bastardization of the "Robot" series of books.

Both "The Second Renaissance Part I, Part II" and "I, Robot" are based on the book "I, ROBOT" by Isaac Asimov where a robot is accused of murder, raising questions of intelligence, discrimination and the definitions of life and conscienceness.


"I, ROBOT" the movie has nothing to do with "I, Robot" the Isaac Asimov book. Maybe I missed something, but the movie seems to be about the "Nestor 5" series of robot that are one of the first models of robot sold in the books. Never, not even once is it mentioned in the books that a "Nestor" killed anyone. Infact, the only "Nestor" mentioned in the very first part of the book saves the life of a little girl.

There are 3 rules of robotics established in the Asimov "Robot" books. None of them seem to be any part of the Will Smith movie.

Hence, the movie is going to suck to true Asimov fans.
