Well that logo and name are just to fill the space as of now still have a lot of ideas running through my head all fighting for the top ![]() |

How bout this. Instead of randomly adding items to your design, draw it up on paper on what you wish to see as your website. Then work from the paper design in Photoshop. It definately helps in creating a nice website with structure cause you know where this and that will go. |

It definately helps in creating a nice website with structure cause you know where this and that will go.[/QUOTE] this is a great tip and you should really think about it. when i first got started in web design i'd make 10 to 15 layout sketches on paper before going to the computer. you wont have to do that as much later on once you get the hang of things. |

Also, take more notice to colors that go well together. I remember my first few designs were black and grey as well. You'll develop an eye for it over time - keep checking this forum though and looking at everyone elses work, too. Read other's critiques on what works and what doesn't for the web sites posted here. Keep at it ;). Designing is the fun part - slicing and scripting is the part that makes you want to punch the monitor. Nos. |
