WIP: Hosting Layout

Hi,

this is my first post in this forum.

I'd like to show you this hosting layout, which I'm currently working on. It's still in early stage and I experiment a lot with it.

Edit: I did make a link, else it ruins the forum layout because of the width.

I don't think a watermark is neccessary on these forums.

I like it except:
- The huge gradients on the right side
- The picture in the header really has no purpose/direction
- the text in the top tabs is really small and high up

Other than that, it's great. Although it does look kind of template-ish, but I think you were going for that, right?

Yes, it is going in the template direction, I'm planning to sell this layout when it's done.

The header is not ready yet, the picture is just the background, there will be maybe a small flash animation and some text.

The buttons aren't ready either, I'm working on them right now, there will be something under the text

Yes, I'm also not satisfied with this, I try to change this thing.

I am liking it a lot, a great start to a good layout.

-The buttons up top are big... I think they would look fine with a LITTLE rollover thing (like you are working on), but still make them smaller.

-The space between the buttons up top and header could be smaller.

-Nav could be a little smaller

-Some kind of logo in the header would look good... you are probably still working on that though.

Please keep us updated as it progresses, a great start though. :D

I don't really like it... everything is so big!
And the colorscheme isn't really interesting, use a bright color somewhere in there, that will really catch my eyes. Or atleast try to use the red of the header and the footer somewhere in the content area, thats all grey and boring now.

The layout is good, just the graphics are a bit too clumsy and big.

I think if you make the rectangles holding the gradient shorter, you'd have a hit!

Buttons up top... either lose the arrows and make it smaller or make the buttons AND arrows smaller.

i think it looks good, i see to many people going on at this guy,
i think the big buttons etc give it character. . . .
