Was experimenting with a few new texture methods, came up with a quick site for a friend's friend's underground newspaper. Would be a b!tch to slice, but overall I like it

I got my inspiration off the site my friend originaly made (had a star/weirish rectangle thing just like mine). I must say, your star is looking a lot beter than mine :/

It isn't my site. It was posted in athread pretty recently, just scroll a little down to find it.

I just thought there was a connection there.

I think that it is a sort of "standard" thing to have that star and those colours on an "underground" site or piece of artwork??

i like both of those sites though, Nice job Nos and nice job Yachovitch, My only jibe with yacovitches is that you should take out those things that say :

"dont steal any of this crap" and "cos that would be illegal or something"

I debated a little about that, along with the "the place where the cool people chillout!". I need to find other ways to fill space :/
Not sure if I even like those hands in the bang box. They're straight from the custom shape.

The green and black work well together to give it the underground look. And putting things slightly off-kilter shows the man can't bring you down with his straight-on tables.
My biggest suggestion would be in terms of updating the site...will you always upload a new sliced image to fit into the template squares? It would be more work for each update, even thought it would look freakin' cool.

Thanks dave2n.
I have no idea how I would go about slicing the site up, or updating it even. It's just sort of a layout that I thought looked cool

And putting things slightly off-kilter shows the man can't bring you down with his straight-on tables.

Didn't know that my slanted angles were symbolizing that.
