Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, This is my second submission to the "Self Portrait" Contest entitled "Depression". I wanted to get your input! I used primarily Photoshop but I did use 3D studio max for the wireframe only. I was pretty happy with this one because I had to use alot of Photoshop techniques that I havent used very much... I have a much better understanding of Alpha channels now and how to use them to my advantage....Hope you like it! Thanks, Jim http://www.geocities.com/xr650lvr/ |

Bro that is Phat. I love it. Specially the tear drop running from the eye that is a touch of class. The white shine on the eye, the top of it looks a bit to definite. The wirframe looks cool. Nice work man. See thats the kinda stuff that i like. Wut a legend |

Very nice. I really like the texturing on the eyeball. The little feathery furry stuff. And of course the tear drop. Very good work.

I like the "Ansel Adams" feel of it. Kind of weird perspective since the bottom of the eye comes at you.........

jim that is great.. as always.. only a few suggestions.. I think the veins need to be a little bit easier to see.. and.. the tear is really good, but.. something is a little off.. I comes from the eye to cleanly.. the tear should well up within the eye.. so it should be higher up.. not just coming off of the edge of the eyelid.. (hope you understand what Im trying to say ;) ) Snore |

IT NEEDS REDEYE... like it just got done smoking a fatty :p kidding ;p It's very good work. I see someone likes gridlines. Keep it up man, it's very good stuff. The colors are a little bright for 'depression' but the mood is shown regardless. Good to see something other than 1px bevels. Creative juices are flowing eh=) |
