Making a celtic/fantasy interface, would like some critiques

I don't like your menu. The links are hard to read with that background. Just change the color of your links.

I don't like the black background either. It's too dark.
Maybe a slight green would look nice, or maybe even orange.

Any suggestions for a different link colour?

I agree the links are hard to read in certain parts of the nav bar. But the other colors are really nice. I don't mind the black background too much. (which is weird because I usually hate them) I think it may be too much green if you changed it to the green color. I really like how you have the good news in one colored box, and the bad news in the other. Very cool.

I like the layout, nice green. the links are sort of a contrasting colour.. i would have picked a brighter orange or a blue or red... I'm not really sure because I don't use green a lot in my graphics.

I would center the navigation points - the font - put it into the middle.
the rest looks good.

I like the the top image and the layout, very cool. Also its true, you do need to change the color of the links, maybe a darker orange I think, something darker would be easier to read. Also I dont like the font you chose to use for the website. Maybe Arial or something like the font in this forum, I dont know, I just dont like the font. But besides that very nice job.
