Counter Strike Website

Just made a site for my counter-strike clan- any comments and criticisms welcome

It was Counter-Strike alright. Im a gamer myself, and therefor
I seen quite a few cs clan sites my self.

I can say the design was easy and clean, but its indeed not
that nice to view. I reckon you havent made that many sites?

The site would have been much nicer if the text area had
the same background as the rest.
There are many clan sites out there, go watch them and get
inspired.

You asked for critique so ;)

two of the things that i just don't stay for man, but what i saw... it's deff cs alright lol. but try to make it some what load faster... work out the coding and such, try something

hmm it should have the same background as the rest of the site- dunno whats up with it. Not too sure on how to get it to load quicker etc, any ideas would be welcome

You need to take a serious look at how to "optimize for web" ....

No one is going to really take a serious look at your site if it takes 5 minutes to load the first page on cable. And having a free host with a site that big is a sure bottleneck.

I saved the top image and it was like 66k, when your first page should really be under 66k.

It times out for me, if someone else gets it send me a screenshot.

I waited for a while and only about 1/3 the page loaded so I gave up.

From what I saw of it (also about 1/3 of it), you put little effort into the design. Come on! There's no originality in that whatsoever! it's exactly like the CS menu. or whatever. Try some originality.

i went on this and i waited 60's where as i usually wait 7, i have 150k connection not exacly BB, but still,

now i actually think ok ill go bak to this and comment, wait for it to load,

i see a screen shot used as a bg, a box in the middle that has a cannot display message ad 4 red X's scattered about,

sorry i want those 60seconds bak
